*
Chris (Assistive Technology Coordinator for Detroit Public Schools) has been doing lots of workshops through DPS, She and Laura were at a Conference on Assistive Technologies yesterday and were very impressed with Denise DaCoste? from Montgomery County MD. She spoke about their High Incidence Accessible Technology (HIAT) an awesome repository of lessons and technologies that employ UDL principals http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/hiat/ Her handouts demonstrated a practical example of differentiated note taking – they were slides and outlines of varying completeness. Jane recommended Scott Elias’ “Taking your slide deck to the next level” http://www.slideshare.net/selias22/taking-your-slide-deck-to-the-next-level/
*
Laura (Oakland ISD) is a Moodle facilitator at Oakland ISD where they are supporting 24 out of the 28 districts in using Moodle. They just hosted a "Moodle Party" to share the many ways that the courses are being used. There is a lot of concern about copyright and course management systems (CMS or LMS).

Carol I (Plymouth-Canton Schools, many hats0) Moodle coaching after school
*
Angie (MS Girls Technology Integrator at Academy of the Sacred Heart) School is re-developing their “academic integrity policy” at the suggestion of students who complained that the old one wasn’t effective.
