Looked at a sample padfolio for consideration as a “Let’s Talk” give-away.  Rather pricey minimum order of 96 at $5.39 + $55 set up charge, After discussion we thought we’ll look for something that we could get in a smaller quantity. Possibly smaller padfolios. http://4imprint.com

Eileen - Shared new brochure, “A Vision for Clean Water” – she will be going to Nepal on Sunday, October 12.  “A Vision for Clean Water” will go into an area and set up clean water and the local Rotary Club will commit to do other projects.  Training information is on the back of the brochure.  It costs $100 for a filter for a school.  With a donation “A Vision for Clean Water” will come and share.  Leaving today to pass out “A Vision for Clean Water” at environmental demo house created by Lawrence Tech students near Troy Public Library.

Carol I -  School is supporting a clean water project – Interact Club (school-based) – works with local Rotary Club.  Panorama now owned by Google – has the ability to geotag pictures. Maybe Eileen can use it to show where the water filters are in Nepal.

Carol K -- Chris, Carol K & Bob, Carol I. & Laura attended the MITS – Michigan’s Integrated Technology Conference in early summer, June 18, 19, 20 in Traverse City.   This a great deal, only $50 for the conference.  National speakers present.  Carol K. was very impressed with a 5th Grade Teacher from Florida.  Handouts were presented on a flashdrive, but also located on the MITs website  http://www.cenmi.org/mits/
Carol K’s school is a “turn around” school, likelihood for future funds from the state. Carol was also CareerForward (http://www.mivhs.org/content.cfm?ID=693) grant winner.
